Memorial Day is a yard work weekend and I always end up with some sort of pain to go back to work with on Tuesday.
One nice thing about Memorial Day is the Oxford parade, it goes right by my house. We can just sit on the porch with the pups and watch it all go by....all 10 minutes of it, well maybe 20 minutes. The bulk of the parade is firetrucks but it is still a nice little parade. Uptown they hung a very large flag from the ladders on the firetrucks the picture is from the street in front of my house.
