Update
So I finally received Kim's Christmas card and her moms on the 5th mail day after Thanksgiving. I wonder did they mail them together or something? Not bad but I did get 2 cards before them.

Something Must Be Wrong
I just have to say that it is now 4 mailing days after Thanksgiving and I haven't gotten Kim's or her mom's Christmas cards yet. They are slacking!
November 2008
Yes, another summary.
I took the 4th through the 6th off work only to spend most of that time cleaning up leaves. The weather was amazing and I'm so glad I took the time, even thought it was a lot of work at least I was outside enjoying what was our last few days of nice weather. I bagged about 23 bags of leaves, Matt was in Vegas for work so I'm pretty impressed with myself. I also scrubbed carpets and floors and did some other cleaning projects around the house.
Matt ran the Turkey trot in Oxford with Ruby. I was going to run but I'm glad I didn't since it was cold and slushy rain that morning. I took pictures and walked around with Jack.
We went up to Birch Run after that but I didn't find anything I was looking for unlike Kim.
Matt went up to Central with our friend Steve to a football game. He had a good time. I stayed home, I wasn't going to sit outside in this cold weather, No Way!
We had a mobile pet grooming service come to the house, it was really interesting and they did a great job. I should have taken a picture but I didn't think about it, maybe next time.
We once again hosted Thanksgiving and I must say everything turned out great. This year I really had the process down, the turkey was even done earlier than planned.
Work was rough this month, we laid off 11 people thanks to GM. It's a little tense around there with the uncertainty of GM & Chrysler (my office's 2 biggest clients) Fortunately for my department, we service all the offices Nationally & Worldwide with other clients who are still doing well. Keep your fingers crossed they don't decide to move that to one of our other locations.

October 2008
Well now, that is a really lame title for a blog but since I'm 2 months behind I think I will just sum it up.
It was a busy month but once again it was mostly at work which left me exhausted. When I returned home from San Fran it was Matt's 40th birthday and even though we didn't have a big party we still managed to celebrate it for 3 days. I didn't get a picture of any of those outings. Just as well Matt had gone to Frankenmuth the weekend before and from what I hear they did a pretty good job of celebrating up there.
I took the Friday before my birthday & my birthday off work but I really didn't do much, mostly relaxed.
Matt ran in the Detroit Marathon for his 4th time. His knee was bugging him so his time wasn't what he would have wanted, but after all he has done this year it's no wonder it was irritated. After the race we hung out with some people Matt had met last year at the expo and has been chatting with online since then. They are great people and we plan to hang out with them more in the future. It was funny in the morning before the race I lost Matt and he still had his sweatshirt on that I was going to take from him. So I forced myself through the crazy crowd up the were Matt should be to start the race with about 1 minute left and he had given his shirt to this lady, who I thought was the people he had met before. Once all the runners left I was standing there telling this person what I was planning to do for the day, all the while thinking about how nice Matt had said she was and she was kind of ignoring me. Finally I said bye and maybe I would see them later. When Matt said he wanted to call them after the race to hang out I said I didn't think she was very friendly and he asked me when I met her. To which I replied this morning only to find out that was a complete stranger. They must have thought I was nuts.
We all had plans to go to Derek & Tina's October party it was a good thing I ran into Amy at the Scarecrow festival in Oxford or we would have shown up at their house and nobody would have been there. Well Tina did send out a email to let everyone know the party was cancelled because of her moms party and their crazy life as well. We did miss it but Kim, Bill, Matt and I went out to celebrate our birthday's at The Oxbow in Grand Blanc. Kim & I split a Trash Can which is a 64oz Long Island Ice Tea. It is very good and only 9 bucks. It was a lot of fun.
Devils night October 30th we went to Romeo. There is this road I think it's Tillman and just about every house on the street decorate for Halloween. It was so cool we are planning to go back next year. I will let everyone know and we can make a night of it. I took pictures but they just don't do it justice.
Halloween was okay but I got sick, I think it was to much junk food at work. Well that is about it doesn't sound that busy but it was and I know I'm forgetting something that is why I shouldn't wait so long to do this.

What was I doing?
I logged into my blog today and found a post I started in August and never finished or posted, I guess I've been a little busy!
I'm in San Francisco now working on site at the Oracle Open World Conference. My companies San Carlos office runs the registration for the 40,000 plus people who attend the conference and are always in need of help to staff it, so for the last 3 years I come out and work the registration cashier desk with a dear friend and coworker from that office, Terri. We have a great time and laugh alot. I've taken a ton of pictures out here but the stupid lap top they sent me out here with doesn't have a spot for me to put in the disk from my camera to down load them. I try to get some on when I get home.
It's been a busy month, I also have some pictures from the mini-tri Matt did at the beginning of the month that Kim, Bill and Addison came to, it was another rainy event for Matt. Then we had the 1st Annual Gilbert Weber Memorial golf outing that I have some good shot from thanks to Cheryl. This weekend, when I get home, we will be celebrating Matt's 40th birthday. I tried to convince him to come out to San Fran but he couldn't decide fast enough and I had to book my trip, he missed a good time.
Well that's all for now I'll get the pictures up as soon as I can.

Wow, it's the End of August
So next weekend is Labor Day weekend and per usuall I don't know where summer went.
We haven't done much this month just some needed yard work. Last weekend I managed to injure myself by pulling weeds. I pulled the lining of my lungs, I'm not sure how pulling weeds can do that but I did.
I finally managed to get together with Rory and see her now 6 and 1/2 month old girl Lola. She is very cute but I forgot my camera so no pictures, sorry. It was nice to see her and we did go up to some trails and walk for about an hour, it was good to catch up with her.
Matt ran in the Crim yesterday, 10 miles he ran it in 1hr 12 minutes. We ran into some people knew from school in the tent, it was fun.
It's been nice to have a nice calm month since next month is going to be insane.
